Jingle Palace Introduction: Jingle Palace, built in the 11th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, is the first of the eight palaces in Wudang Mountain. Because the Danjiangkou Reservoir was submerged in the reservoir during the construction of the Danjiangkou Reservoir in 1958, a number of cultural relics such as the archway and turtle stele in the palace were moved to Danjiangkou. In 2002, Danjiangkou City implemented the restoration work of Jingle Palace. Now Danjiangkou has reproduced the grandeur of Jingle Palace back then, becoming an example of the relocation and restoration of above-ground cultural relics in the Danjiangkou South-to-North Water Diversion Project.
