Introduction to waterfall viewing in Pagoda Town: Walking through the middle section of the Phoenix River Valley, when you reach a right-angled bend, you can see an independent cliff stone on the bank, about 10 meters high and 12 meters wide, majestic Stands like a stone tower. There is a rock protruding from the top of the tower, which is said to be called "Howling Sky Dog". There is a huge stone pressed at the bottom of the stone tower. It looks like a crocodile when viewed from the left, and looks like a roc putting its head into the river to drink water when viewed from the right or front. Legend has it that in ancient times there were two monsters in the Phoenix River Valley, one was a crocodile spirit and the other was a single-winged bird. They often made trouble here and harmed living creatures. Once there was a fight over food, which caused the river to overflow and the sky to darken. The Jade Emperor was very angry when he found out, so he sent the God Erlang down to earth to subdue monsters and catch monsters. After Erlang Shen received the order, he held the demon-suppressing pagoda and brought the roaring dog to the canyon. After several battles, Erlang Shen used the Demon Suppression Tower to subdue the two monsters. Erlang Shen was afraid that after leaving, the two monsters would knock down the pagoda and come out to harm the living beings, so he left the roaring dog lying on the top of the pagoda to guard it. The locals call this stone the "Two Monsters of Pagoda Town".
