Introduction to the cliff carvings on Yunbian Embankment: In the dry Hun River at the foot of the Hanging Temple, there is a huge cliff carving. The stone carving is about 3 meters high and 2 meters wide. It has four characters "Yunbian Embankment" engraved on it and a signature below. This stone was excavated by the cultural management department of Hunyuan County when clearing the river. After research, it was found that the stone carving was produced in the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of eight or nine hundred years. It is understood that cliff carvings are usually located on the mountainside or cliff, but this stone carving was unearthed 20 meters below the Hun River, which is very rare. Its excavation not only adds a beautiful landscape to the Hanging Temple, but also provides valuable research materials for the humanities and history of Hengshan.
