Introduction to Huanggang Dong Village: Huanggang Village is located in the southeast of Shuangjiang Township. The village has jurisdiction over 2 natural villages, 11 villager groups, 325 households, and 1,578 people. It is a pure Dong village and is the "headquarters" of the Dong ethnic group. It is the birthplace of the "official" culture and Dong folk songs. It has rich ethnic customs and authentic cultural sentiments. Here there are many crops, neat houses, towering drum towers, flying flower bridges, gurgling streams in the village, and beautiful villages. Covered by ancient trees, the houses, water rollers and barns are scattered in an orderly manner with a reasonable layout. The village appearance is harmonious and unified. It is the most completely protected Dong ethnic village in our province.
There are many ethnic festivals in Huanggang Village, the most solemn ones are the "Official Carrying Man" festival on the seventh day of the first lunar month and the "June 15" Heaven Sacrifice Festival.
