Yuanmou Earth Forest is 201 kilometers north of Kunming and 12-38 kilometers away from Yuanmou County. It is located in Yuanmou County, Yunnan. Yuanmou Tulin has a tropical savanna climate, with an average annual temperature of 21.9 degrees Celsius and a dry season and a rainy season. The rainy season is from June to October. At this time, the soil and forests are soaked and softened by the rain, affecting the landscape, and the roads are muddy, so it is not suitable to go there; November → May of the following year is the dry season, which is the best time to travel. For example, if you go to Yuanmou from November to March, the climate is warm and comfortable; from April to May, the climate is hot and dry, the sun is exceptionally bright, and the photography effect is better.

Kunming → Yuanmou
Train: There are many train lines from Kunming to Yuanmou.
