Scenic spot introduction:

Cuihu Lake in Kunming was originally called "Caihaizi". It is also called "Nine Dragon Pond" because "nine springs come out of the lake and merge into a pool" in the northeast of the lake. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Governor Fan Chengxun and Governor Wang Jiwen of Yunnan and Guizhou built Biyi Pavilion (commonly known as Haixin Pavilion) in the lake, with sparkling water and green trees. During the Tang Dynasty, Jiyao built east-west embankments and north-south embankments in the lake, dividing the lake into four parts. There is Haixin Pavilion in the middle of the lake, Fish Viewing Hall in the west and Shuiyue Pavilion in the southeast. Weeping willows are planted all over the embankment of the green lake, and the willow branches are blowing on the face. There are many kinds of lotus flowers in the lake, and the lotus flowers are fragrant. There is an old couplet of "ten acres of lotus and fish world, half of the city willows caressing the towers", and it is known as "jasper in the city". Cuihu Park is located in Cuihu Park at the west foot of Wuhua Mountain in Kunming City.

Attractions distribution:

"Green Lake" covers an area of 21 hectares, and the water surface accounts for 15 hectares. Two long willow embankments intersect in the center of the garden in the shape of a "+" character, dividing the entire lake into four. The north and south horizontal embankments are called "Ruan Embankments" and were built by Yunnan Governor Ruan Yuan during the Daoguang Period, imitating the beauty of the "Su Embankments" in the West Lake. The east-west vertical embankments are called "Tang Embankments" and were built during the Republic of China. At the junction of the two embankments is a small island in the middle of the lake, with the Huxin Pavilion as the main axis, forming the central tourist area. The pavilion in the center of the lake is also called the "Biyi Pavilion". The pavilion has a beautiful appearance, with flying eaves and yellow tiles, dotted with the spring scenery of the green lake. The pavilion has two inner courtyards, front and rear, where various exhibitions are held.
