Banna Monkey Mountain is the scientific research and experimental base of the China Experimental Animal Yunnan Primate Center. It has 14 species of national first- and second-class rare primates. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Jinghong City, at the intersection of Lancang River and Liusha River, adjacent to the ruins of the original Xuanwei Ambassador's Palace (Mengli Forbidden City) and 4 kilometers away from the city.
