Introduction to the Yuan Museum: The Yuan Dynasty was a period of great change in my country's drinking habits. Because the Mongolian people liked spirits, it also promoted the development of shochu across the country, and the ritual of highly distilled liquor became popular across the country. In 1291, the shochu brewed by Yang Hanyingte Gong Renhuai, the military and civilian Xuanfu envoy of Bozhou (now the northern Guizhou area), was praised by Kublai Khan, the emperor of the Yuan Dynasty, and became one of the largest toasts in Guizhou. From then on, there must be wine for every tribute, and the fragrance of Maojiu floats in the imperial garden.
