Introduction to Qiling Bridge: Qiling Bridge is located on the Longdi River in the northwest of the city. It was first built in the 10th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1582 AD). It has been repaired and rebuilt many times in history. It now has 13 arches and a full length. 169 meters, the center of the bridge is built with four-cornered pavilions, which look like flying dragons drinking water. Qilin Pavilion is built on the west bridge head in the south, and Linjiang Tower is built in the north. There are more than ten merit monuments and virtue political monuments erected on the river bank downstairs. The water-dividing point can reduce the impact of floods. The arch height at both ends is more than 7 meters, and the height increases toward the middle arch to 10.5 meters, which is conducive to the drainage of the mainstream. A "dragon-slaying sword" is hung on the top of the arch, which is intended to deter the dragon and prevent it. Caused by flooding, the entire bridge has a high level of engineering technology and art, reflecting the high wisdom of the ancient working people.
