Introduction to the Sanjiao Hall: The Sanjiao Hall was first built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty and was changed into the Huguo Temple during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty. In the 23rd year of the Republic of China, it was rebuilt into the Sanjiao Hall and was repaired many times during this period. Completely restored in the 1980s. This temple complex has a rigorous structure and a large scale. It is the central temple complex of Erlang Mountain. The main hall worships Confucius, Sakyamuni and Laozi, the originators of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. The east and west walls of the hall are painted with panoramic views of the original Erlang Mountain and Dongshan temple complex. There is also the west side hall dedicated to the sun and moon gods, and the west verandah hall from north to south is the temple of the God of Wealth, Guanyin, Five Elements, and the Great Sage. The East Verandah Hall enshrines gods such as the Golden Fire Furnace God, the Black Tiger Spirit Officer, and the King of Medicine. To the west of the front yard is the Zen Room and to the east is the Daxian Temple.
