Introduction to the Notre Dame Temple: The original name of the Notre Dame Temple is Bixia Palace. It was built as a Taoist temple during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty. There is a stone square at the mountain gate built during the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty. The monk's office in the front courtyard and the Notre Dame Hall in the middle courtyard are dedicated to Bixia Yuanjun. The back hall was originally the sleeping palace, and was used to worship the empress who gave birth to her son. There is a temple fair on June 22nd in Bixia Palace, which is very popular.
