Introduction to coffin burials: Guoli Cave Burial is located in Baisheng Township, Longli County. It is one of the largest cave burials in Guizhou. The entrance of the cave is about 54 meters wide and 21 meters high. Inside the cave are more than 400 coffins containing the remains of Miao ancestors with the Wu surname from Guoli, Xinzhuang, Gumeng and other villages. The coffins have their heads facing north and south and are fixed on "well"-shaped stands. Three "well"-shaped stands are for men and two are for women. There are also fire pits, stoves, cattle pens and gunpowder making relics in the cave. It is an important cultural site of the local Miao people and plays an important role in studying the funeral, military, migration, history and other aspects of the Miao culture in central Guizhou.
