Introduction to Huguo Temple: Wenzhou Huguo Temple was built in the Zhenyuan period of the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Qianhua period of Houliang in the Five Dynasties. There are written records that the fragment of Pilu Pagoda was first seen in the Later Liang Dynasty of the Five Dynasties. It was built by the monk Hongchu during the Qianhua period of the Later Liang Dynasty in the Five Dynasties to celebrate the birthday of King Qian Liu of Wuyue. On both sides of the tower, there are inscriptions "Protect the country and wish Yan, the holy longevity pagoda." words. By the Ming Dynasty, it enjoyed the reputation of "Jiafu and Tianning inside, protecting the country and peace outside". It was one of the largest Buddhist jungles in Wenzhou City, and was also the site of the earliest Buddhist academy in southern Zhejiang (originally known as Shanjia Lecture House). .
