Introduction to the Giant Buddha Platform: The Maitreya Buddha Platform is located on the top of Turtle Back Mountain 1,000 meters south of Jiufeng Pagoda. The Maitreya Buddha in Wujin Mountain is carved from white marble and is 9.9 meters high. The base of the Maitreya Buddha Platform is three-story and 5 meters high. The third floor is the Xumizuo, with reliefs of twenty immortals on the front, eighteen Arhats on the west, twelve Yuanjue on the east, ten bright kings on the north, and four Vajras on the four corners. The total height from the ground to the top of the Buddha is 14.9 meters.
