Introduction to the Sanqing Hall: The Sanqing Hall is dedicated to the statues of the Three Purities and the Four Emperors. Sanqing respectively refers to the three gods of Yuqing Yuanshi Tianzun, Shangqing Lingbao Tianzun and Taiqing Daode Tianzun. The Four Emperors are the four gods who assist the "Three Pure Ones" among the Taoist heavenly gods. They are the North Pole Emperor Zhongtian Ziwei, the Antarctic Changsheng Emperor, the Gouchen Shanggong Emperor, and the Tuhuang Earth Emperor who follows the example of Chengtian. The Three Purities are the creators of all things in the universe, and the Four Kings are the gods who command all things.
