Introduction to the Qinyuan Siege Battle Memorial Hall: The Qinyuan Siege Battle is a miracle in the history of Chinese and foreign wars and a typical example of guerrilla warfare behind enemy lines. In October 1942, the Japanese army invaded Qinyuan for the second time in an attempt to fake Qinyuan and realize its plan of "Mountain Suppression of Communist Experimental Zone". The anti-Japanese army and civilians in Qinyuan fought tit-for-tat and launched a two-and-a-half-year siege against the Japanese army. They first carried out a large-scale operation to clear out empty houses, filling up wells, grinding them and blowing them up, and transporting food away, which deprived the Japanese army of the material conditions they relied on for survival. Then they launched a "grain grabbing movement", sneaking into enemy strongholds at night and transporting out the grain robbed by the enemy. Later, it developed into a "movement to rob the enemy", which frightened the enemy and kept him in panic all day long. "Every family makes stone mines, and everyone buries stone mines." Stone mines were planted everywhere on the enemy's supply line, giving the enemy heavy blows again and again. Especially during the "General Siege" in March 1945, Qinyuan soldiers and civilians deployed 15,000 landmines and stone mines at city gates and intersections, killing more than 940 enemies. On April 11, after the enemy paid a heavy price, they fled in panic.
