Introduction to the natural landscape of the Tahe River: The Tarim River Basin is vast and has many rivers. There were once 9 major water systems and 144 rivers, with a drainage area of 1.02 million square kilometers. For thousands of years, the people of Tahe have chosen to live by the water and have been with it, thus forming national cultures with different styles in different regions, which are closely related to the perseverance, vastness, generosity and loving nature of Populus euphratica, desert and Tahe. Integrated into one, an independent yet connected cultural system has been formed in the vast desert and among various oases.
