Mangdang Mountain is known as the "Lushan Mountain of Fujian" and is an excellent place for summer vacation tourism and forest recuperation. It is located more than 10 kilometers northwest of Yanping District, Nanping City, covering an area of ​​117 square kilometers. The highest peak is 1,363 meters above sea level. It is a branch of the Wuyi Mountains. Mangdang Mountain is famous for its secluded mountains, deep forests, and clear springs and mist. It is known as "ten miles of clear streams, hundreds of cliffs, thousands of steps, and thousands of deep trees." There is an ancient Fujian-Jiangxi road paved with stones in the eastern part of Mangdang Mountain, commonly known as "Three Thousand Eight Hundred Ridges".
