Nanping Mingcui Pavilion is located on Fengyan of Shizi Mountain at Shuidong Bridge in the city center, covering an area of ​​600 acres. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers and has pleasant scenery. It is named "Mingcui Pavilion" because of the green mountains and green streams. Its architecture is decorated with carved dragons, painted phoenixes, flying eaves and warped walls, and is known as the No. 1 Pavilion in Northern Fujian. There are Yuantong Hall, Daxiong Palace, Jielong Bridge and Octagonal Tower in the scenic area. They are well-proportioned and majestic. A celebrity once wrote a couplet saying, "The hidden mist of the Ming Tower is far better than Penglai Wonderland, and the green pavilion is as beautiful as Lingshan Mountain".
