Introduction to Kalajun Sky Grassland: Kalajun Grassland is located in the southern Kalajun Mountains of Tekes County. It means "black wilderness" in Kazakh language. Kalajun Grassland is 1,600 to 2,000 meters above sea level, 89 kilometers long from east to west, and 32 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of ​​2,848 square kilometers. It is praised by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations as "a rare natural high-quality alpine grassland in the world."
Kalajun Grassland is a typical mountain meadow type grassland. The terrain here is gently undulating and the field of vision is broad. Every spring and summer, hundreds of species of forage bloom at different times, and flowers of different colors, shapes, and aromas are covered with green velvet. The velvet grassland makes it even more colorful, and together with the green and high virgin spruce forests, it creates a huge and shocking natural picture.
