Introduction to Deng Xiaoping Statue Square: The bronze statue of Deng Xiaoping was created by Professor Li Xiangqun. The bronze statue is 2.5 meters high and weighs 1.2 tons. The base is made of black gold sandstone, 6 meters wide, 4.5 meters deep and 0.8 meters high. The five eye-catching characters "Bronze Statue of Deng Xiaoping" on the pedestal were inscribed by Comrade Jiang Zemin.
