Introduction to the hanging coffin site: Hanging coffin burial is a unique burial custom of several ethnic minorities in ancient times. It began in the Yin and Shang Dynasties. It was mostly placed on cliffs and cut into walls, and was divided into pile coffins, cavity coffins and rock coffins. The hanging coffins in Zhuanzi'ao were placed by the ancient Bo people over 600 years ago. There were once more than 40 coffins, but many of them were damaged due to age.
