Introduction to Pang Tong Temple: Pang Tong Temple, also known as Dragon and Phoenix Temple, is located on the side of Baima Pass in Luojiang County, Sichuan Province. Pang Tong (179-214), courtesy name Shiyuan and nickname Fengchu, was from Xiangyang and was Liu Bei's counselor during the Three Kingdoms period. The tomb of the temple was built by Liu Bei, Emperor Zhaolie of the Shu Han Dynasty, after the death of Pang Tong Zhongliu in 214 AD. It was restored in 1691 and now has the gate, main hall, pavilions on both sides, Qifeng Hall, and Pang Tong's tomb outside the temple. Pang Tong Temple is a national key cultural relic protection unit.
