Introduction to the Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground (Beach Volleyball): The Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground originated in 1745. After the restoration of the British feudal dynasty in 1660, soldiers protecting the king have been stationed here. During the 2012 London Olympics, a temporary beach volleyball court will be set up in front of the British Prime Minister's office on the parade ground; after the Olympics, all temporary courts in the venue will be demolished.
