Introduction to the Lee Valley White Water Center (Kayaking): The Lee Valley White Water Center is located in Harford County, 30 kilometers north of the Olympic Park. The center is the first new venue for the 2012 Olympic Games completed by the London Olympic Games Planning Bureau. In addition to a 300-meter Olympic competition track, the center also has a 160-meter intermediate track.
During the Olympics, kayaking slalom events will be held here, and the shorter track in the venue will be a training and warm-up venue for athletes.
Post-Olympic, the Lee Valley Whitewater Center competition track and competition facilities will be retained and will continue to provide a training ground for kayak competitions for the local community and visitors.
