Introduction to Aarhus Old Town: Aarhus Old Town (Den Gamle By) was built in 1914 and is the world's first outdoor museum that mainly displays the architectural culture of the city. The 75 houses in the old city are all from 20 villages and towns in the territory. They are basically half-timbered structures. They were rebuilt as they were after being moved here for tourists to visit.
