Introduction to Cervantes’ former residence: Cervantes’ former residence is a 16th-century building that was renovated in 1956 and still maintains its original appearance. There are bronze statues of Don Quixote and Sancho in front of the former residence. There is a small square well in the courtyard. The residence is a two-story red building supported by eight granite pillars. The lower floor is a study, living room and kitchen. The second floor is a small red building. The first floor is the bedroom. The armchairs, Castilian bedside tables and other furniture displayed in the room as well as the paintings and sculptures of the time reflect the life of a wealthy family in the 16th century. There is also a display room displaying various versions and translations of "Don Quixote", including the Chinese translation.
