Introduction to the College of San Idefonso: The College of San Idefonso was founded in 1541-1553. This is a building with complex mosaic decoration and is the symbol of the University of Alcalá. The main buildings of the college include the St. Thomas courtyard, the trilingual courtyard, the auditorium and spacious classrooms. In the San Idefonso chapel there are the tombs of Cisnero and Nebrija.
