Introduction to the Three-leaf Tower: The Three-leaf Tower (National Museum of Moudiahid) was built to commemorate the people who sacrificed their lives for Algeria’s independence. It was completed and opened in 1982, the 20th anniversary of Algeria’s independence. The shape is three giant palm leaves of reinforced concrete standing on top of each other to protect the "Eternal Flame" underneath. Under the trefoil tower is the National Museum.
