Temple introduction: In this devastated land, only the temple is well preserved. The several temples in the middle of the mountainside are Dumu Hall, Red Hall, White Hall and Samsara Hall. These temples all have a strong Tibetan architectural style. The carvings on the eaves of the temples are mostly lions, elephants, horses, peacocks and other animals. This kind of carvings is probably related to the four sacred waters flowing from the Gangdise Mountains: Shiquan River, Elephant River and so on. The legends of Quanhe, Maquanhe and Kongquehe are probably related to some extent.
