Introduction to Whale Lake: In the hinterland of Kunlun Mountains in the southeast of Ruoqiang County, there is a magical large lake lying flat. The lake water and the snow-capped mountains and ice peaks reflect each other. The shape of the lake is like a recumbent fat whale, with its head east The tail is west, hence the name "Whale Lake". A 7.5-kilometer-long natural gravel embankment is formed in the eastern seventh of the lake, which naturally separates the lake into east and west parts. The gravel embankment is about 200 meters wide and 2-4 meters above the lake surface. There is a gap in the middle so that the water on both sides can communicate with each other. The "Yutou District" in the eastern half of the lake is home to the Yulang River and there are many large species. Every summer, countless brown-headed gulls, red shelducks and other birds come here to feed and breed. The "fish body" in the western half of the lake has no fresh water supply. As time goes by, evaporation is strong, and the salt content of the lake water is almost saturated. It is a dead lake without life. Due to the obvious difference in water quality between the two lakes, there is a natural contrast between the "gulls singing and ducks dancing" in the East Lake and the "thousands of horses in silence" in the West Lake. Therefore, people also call Whale Lake "Yin Yang Lake".
