Introduction to Phoenix Peak: Phoenix Mountain originates from Mingtang Mountain and is a remnant of the Dabie Mountains. It is named after the fifth ancestor Hongren settled in this mountain and attracted many phoenixes to worship. In the ancient poem, "it is said that two phoenixes gather together in the stone, and several immortals return across the bridge." That's the story. Phoenix Mountain was formed during the Quaternary neotectonic movement. It has strange peaks and towering rocks in various shapes. The mountain is mainly composed of Wanshan rock mass. The geology is relatively complex, mostly granite, mixed granite, and monzonitic gneiss.
