Introduction to White Guanyin Dojo: Tai'an Temple is the dojo of White Guanyin. Legend has it that after Guanqiu Jian, the famous general of the Wei State, defeated the Wandu City with his horses and chariots, he pursued the remnants of the Goguryeo army and came to the Niangniang Treasury. Here he saw Guanshiyin Bodhisattva standing on the clouds, protected by the light of the Buddha, and the statue was kind, so he used his sword and spear. Without lifting, the war horse could not move, so he was inspired by Guanshiyin to give up the conquest, turned his sword into a Buddha, and built Tai'an Temple. Because of the protection of Guanyin, the incense in Tai'an Temple has lasted for thousands of years. The Jurchen nobles and princes and generals of Goguryeo, Bohai and Dongxia Kingdom have made incense every year. Good men and women have traveled across mountains and rivers to come to worship. The Sanskrit sound has spread far and wide.
