Introduction to Emperor Guangxu’s accommodation: It is located in the east wing of the backyard of the Empress Dowager Cixi’s accommodation. Ma Jizhang lived here when he paid filial piety to his father and mother and returned home after the Wuchang Uprising. On January 1, 1902, Emperor Guangxu stayed here when he returned to Beijing with the Empress Dowager Cixi.
