Castle introduction: According to legend, the British Lion-Hearted King Richard (Richard Loevenherz) angered the Duke of Austria during the Crusades eastward, and the king was imprisoned here in 1193. Later, Richard's servants chanted and sang all day long along the Danube River in search of the king, and finally found the king here and paid a huge ransom.
