Introduction to the Temple of Bacasi: Located to the left of the Temple of Jupiter, its shape is very similar to the Temple of Jupiter. Bacchus is the god of wine who governs the harvest of grains. There is a statue of the god of wine in the temple, as well as a wine cellar. The surrounding walls are decorated with patterns composed of grapes and wine jugs. The 10-meter-high stone pillars on both sides of the temple gate are filled with lifelike carvings of various grains, vegetables, and fruits. Various fine and neat patterns are carved on the four walls and stone pillars of the temple. The outer edge of the temple is a corridor made of circular stone pillars with a diameter of 2 meters and a height of 15 meters. The vault is a huge stone relief with 28 figures carved on it. The idol, a relief sculpture that fell in the corridor of the temple, is a goddess wrapped in a giant snake, floating in the waves of the river. This is the Egyptian goddess Cleopatra. The giant snake entwined means that she was bitten to death by a poisonous snake. The waves of the river mark the Nile. Four major earthquakes destroyed this magnificent temple complex into ruins.
