Introduction to the Guancheng (Wengcheng): The Badaling Great Wall has two Guancheng gates in the east and west. The east gate is the "Juyongwai Town" gate and the west gate is the "North Gate Lock and Key" gate. The two gates are 43.9 meters apart. The barbican covers an area of ​​5,000 square meters and is located at an altitude of 600 meters. The existing Guancheng was built in the 18th year of Hongzhi (1505) in the Ming Dynasty. It is one of the most famous passes in the Great Wall.
