At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, Wei Meifu of Nanchang once abandoned his official position and hid here fishing. Later generations built the "Meixian Temple" to worship him. During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Xu Xun controlled floods to this point, initiated the "Jingming Sect" of Taoism, and built the "Taiji Temple". In the fifth year of Emperor Dahe of the Tang Dynasty, it was renamed "Taiyi Temple". In the second year of Zhihe in the Song Dynasty, it was renamed "Tianning Temple". In the 18th year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, it was named "Qingyun Garden". Later, it was renamed "Pu" and then "Pu".
