Introduction to Longquan Temple: Below the Five Dragons Temple, it was built in the 24th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1288) by Kublai Khan, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. It was repaired in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the Vajra Hall, the four Vajras are separated on two sides. In the Great Buddha Hall, Tathagata Buddha sits in the middle with a peaceful expression. The eighteen Arhats sitting on both sides were smiling broadly. In front of the hall, there are six century-old cypresses, green and tall. The Longtan preface of Qi Jiguang, the commander-in-chief of the three towns in the third year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1575), and the inscriptions of Li Hongzhang, the military minister of the late Qing Dynasty, are also intact here. The current Longquan Temple was rebuilt after 1984.
