Introduction to Bailudong Academy: Bailudong Academy was built in 940 AD. It was rebuilt and expanded by Zhu Xi during the Southern Song Dynasty and became the first of the four major academies in China. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Bailudong Academy was destroyed by war.
