Tanah Lot Temple Introduction: Located on a huge rock by the sea, it is one of the most famous temples in Bali. When the tide is high, the entire rock under the Tanah Lot Temple is surrounded by sea water and is completely isolated from the land. Only when the tide is low will the passage connecting to the land be revealed. A cave in the reef also hides several venomous sea snakes, which are said to be the guardians of the temple to prevent demons and other intruders.
