Introduction to Alpine Ranch: The Basile Kendler Bird Observation Deck on the east side of the reserve is the preferred viewing platform. It has a wide view and can be reached directly by car; standing on the platform, you can see the winding river under the setting sun, like a golden dragon lying quietly, and the graceful swans, white and graceful, with charming beauty.
