Introduction to Yixian Tower: Yixian Tower was founded in the 32nd year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1906). It has 6 bays in total and has a mixed structure of brick and wood. The facade screens, windows and beams are all carved with flowers, plants, fish, insects and plum blossoms. With orchid, chrysanthemum and bamboo patterns, it was called "the first building in Beihai" at that time, and together with Mingzhen, Jingchun and Zhupu, which came from behind, it was collectively known as the four buildings. Yixianlou specializes in teahouses, and also operates tourism, cakes, and banquets. It is famous for making Mid-Autumn moon cakes. In the first year of Xuantong of the Qing Dynasty (1909), the great painter Qi Baishi once lived in Beihai, stayed at Shaji Street, and drank in this building.
