Introduction to the Catholic Church: Located in Shengtang Village, Weizhou Island, it is a Gothic building nestled in a green banana forest and jackfruit forest. The church was built using local rocks, mortar, limestone and bamboo tiles. It was built by the French missionary soil from 1861 to 1880 and took 20 years to complete. The church is 21 meters high, has a building area of ​​774 square meters, and can accommodate 1,500 believers. It is composed of a bell tower, a monastery, a school, a hospital and a nursery. It is the most magnificent church in the "Leilian" area in the late Qing Dynasty. It is called Shengtang Catholic Church by the locals.
