Introduction to Erchu Lingguang Temple: Lingguang Temple is the most important existing temple in Badachu. It was built during the Dali Period of the Tang Dynasty (766-779) and is also known as "Longquan Temple" and "Jueshan Temple".
The ancient temple was destroyed by the Eight-Power Allied Forces in 1900. After 23 years of reconstruction and regeneration, the present Lingguang Temple faces south, with Dabei Temple and Jinyuchi Temple to the south. The northern part is the abbot's courtyard, the pagoda courtyard, the lay courtyard and the main hall.
