Introduction to the aircraft display area: The B&W aircraft is the first aircraft designed by Boeing Company. It is named after the initials of the surnames of its designers, William Edward Boeing and George C. Westervelt. It is made of wood, linen and wire. The prototype was completed and successfully tested in June 1916. This B&W aircraft model is a 1:2 scale prototype restoration model, which was presented to the Civil Aviation Museum by the American Boeing Company when it participated in the Beijing International Air Show in September 2007.
