C46 introduction: The C46 is a high-performance twin-engine transport aircraft produced by the American Curtiss Company. It was a military cargo aircraft designed for the U.S. Army Air Force in the 1940s. In the Second World War, the C-46 made great achievements. It was the main aircraft of the &S2 Hump Airlift and the main airlift force in the early days of the establishment of the Chinese Air Force. During the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of my country, three C46s participated in the air review formation flight. The aircraft was donated to the museum by the Air Force in 2007.
