Introduction to Wu Zongshi Temple: Wu Zongshi is one of the founders of Dongyue Temple. His name is Quanjie and his courtesy name is Chengli (1269-1346). When he was young, he went to Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi Province to study Taoism. He followed Zhang Liusun to Dadu (today's Beijing) and became his assistant, and was highly valued by Emperor Yuan. After Zhang Liusun's death, he inherited the teacher's position and conferred the title of Grand Master of Xuanjiao in Special Jin Shangqing. He inherited the teacher's will and built the main hall of the middle courtyard of Dongyue Temple in six years.
