Introduction to Immortal Cave: Immortal Cave is also known as Wei Laoye Cave. It is said that in ancient times Wei Gongyang cured diseases and saved people, benefited the countryside, and saved all living beings. He was Lord Wei, and he built a hall and a pagoda in Longquan Temple to worship him. A stone statue of Wei Gongyang was enshrined in the cave, so Fenghuang Ridge was also called Laoye Mountain. Every year on the 17th day of the ninth lunar month, legend has it that it is Mr. Wei’s birthday. Local people rush to this cave to pay their respects and pray for the safety of their families.
