Introduction to the Inspiration Palace: The Inspiration Palace is the main hall of Huiji Temple. There are five seated statues of empresses enshrined in the hall. Bixia Yuanjun is in the middle, and the four empresses of vision, descendants, spots, and births are worshiped on both sides. He has a graceful appearance, luxurious clothes, kind eyebrows and kind eyes, dignified and elegant, sitting on the altar. There are three horizontal plaques engraved on the shrine, all written by the Empress Dowager Cixi of the Qing Dynasty, which are "Merciful and rich lady", "Taiyun hangs in the shade", and "Merciful light shines everywhere".
During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the Empress Dowager Cixi came to the Miaofeng Mountain Empress Temple to "pray for acne" for the young Emperor Tongzhi. At that time, the Empress Dowager Cixi took the Zhongbei Road, up the mountain from the Bei'an River in today's Haidian District, and arrived at the Miaofeng Mountain Empress Temple via Miao'erwa. . Soon after, Emperor Tongzhi's acne was cured. Empress Dowager Cixi, out of gratitude, had these three plaques printed and sent to the temple.
